| Customer Reviews: this is PERFECT for daycare!!!! April 3, 2009 Lisa Kenny (Scranton, PA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I had to find a sleep bag for my girls when they were starting daycare, I thought this was perfect since the pillow AND blanket were attached and didn't seem as confining as a sleeping bag, well I can't tell you how fantastic I think this sleep bag is, it's so comfortable, lots of fill inside and it retains it's shape when you wash it, I can't tell you how impressed I am with this, so well made and great value for the price.
Great sleep mat September 21, 2008 J. Lu (Winchester, TN) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My 3 1/2 year old uses this everyday at pre-school. She loves it and asks if she can use it here at home. We bring it home every Friday, pop it in the washing machine and it is ready to go the next day. We bought another one for accidents during naptime. Great product!
Perfect for daycare January 30, 2010 K. Norcross (Doylestown, PA United States) Great nap mat for daycare. My toddler loves it. Keeps shape when washed. Dries easy.
It's well made and worth the money.
Overall, good, but batting inside blanket shifts in the wash September 6, 2009 Woozle (Lancaster, PA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this for my daughter for daycare and she loves it! I'm glad it has strong velcro closures instead of dangerous elastic loops at the bottom.
The only downfall I see is the batting inside the attached blanket shifts and bunches up in the washing machine, even on the hand wash cycle. I don't know why the manufacturer didn't stitch sections into the blanket like they did on the main mat piece. It would have mostly prevented that issue. If you are handy with a sewing machine, you could stitch it yourself before you wash it.
The pillow is removable, which is a big plus to reduce drying time and shifting batting. This product does take a long time to dry, even outside in the sunshine.
Plush sleep mat March 6, 2010 4th grade teacher (So Cal) I bought this for my daughter for her school. She is 19 months and has been using this product for a month. It is much thicker than the other sleep mats that I've seen, which is nice. I like that it has the little pillow (I take the pillow out before washing). I stitched my daughter's name on the pocket. I'm not sure what function the pocket has, since it's not very large. I wish the velcro straps were a bit longer, but I could see that it could be a potential hazard if they were. I did use my sewing machine and stitch 4 horizontal lines through the blanket part to keep the batting inside from shift during the wash. We wash this item at least 1 time per week, and so far it's holding up well. The color is still pretty true. My daughter likes the dogs and cats on it as well. I'm sure that we'll need to replace before my daughter is out of preschool, and I would get this brand again. It's a bit pricey, but I guess it's worth it when you see how thin the other ones are.
